SURVIVOR JOURNEY

I started my Survivor journey on Survivor season 29 and I was fortunate to be a part of the Survivor family up until season 40.  After season 40 covid hit the industry and I started to pursue more steadicam related work and I was on a long form when they ultimately resumed filming. 

 

I started out as a camera technician, then moved on to camera assistant and ultimately to a floating position where I shot on "special beaches" (season 39 Island of Idols, etc.), operated on challenges and shot interviews.  I also did underwater b-roll (scuba), built dolphin cam rigs (like a drag cam and pole cam) and prototypes for tools that will ultimately make the challenge of shooting in harsh conditions a bit easier.  This season of my life was by far filled with some of my favourite memories (playing tennis with Jeff Probst, getting a shoutout from cast member Rick Devens just to name a few!), crew that became family and the most EPIC adventure!
